A PLEDGE TO UPHOLD OUR RIGHTS AND DUTIES MARKS SAMVIDHAN DIVAS CELEBRATIONS AT CCET

Constitution day is celebrated to honor the Constitution of India which was adopted by Indian Constituent assembly on 26 November, 1949. It is an occasion to remind ourselves about our basic rights and the duties that we guard fervently to uphold the constitution. Christian College and Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai celebrated Samvidhan Divas with great zeal and fervor at its campus located at kailashnagar. In honor of this day, a painting and poster competition was organized on the topic of “Constitution of India”. On this occasion Dr Anil Choubey, Assistant Professor of Physics Dept inspired the students to respect the essence in which the Indian constitution was created and also to respect our founding fathers, on whose shoulders the daunting task of its implementation was carried out. He said that after 68 years the constitution has become part of our moral and social code and it is the thread by which whole democratic republic of India is held together. The participating students were overjoyed to be part of this celebration and vowed to uphold it. The Executive Vice Chairman, Fr Jose K Varghese and the Principal, Dr Dipali Soren congratulated Dr Bindu Jacob, HOD of English Dept and Mrs Neha Singh, Assistant Professor of ET&T Dept for success of this program and extended all the resources at CCET for such programs dedicated to National Unity.
