Students of CCET Won First Prize in Inter Zonal Technical Model Competition Organized by CSVTU

The students of Christian College of Engineering and Technology, emboldened and enabled by its competitive academic growth curriculum through various clubs and societies, have yet again proven their mettle by winning Inter-zonal Model Presentation competition held under CSVTU. This yearly competition is organized by CSVTU to select best ideas of foremost innovators amongst its students. The model which won the first prize was named “Smart Home Automation”. It was designed  & presented  by Joys Rohit Kispotta (5th semester CSE), Gaurav Rekhawar (5th semester CSE) and  Ayush Manasseh Nand (5th semester Electrical Engg) under the guidance of Techno Club teacher in charges, Ankur Malviya and Pramod Bhagmar , Assistant Professor & Co-coordinator of Techno Club. The Techno Club of CCET is very actively engaged in nurturing the innovative and creative talents of students and provides a platform for them to float innovative projects, recruit teams and if required, get external funds so as to successfully design and create their projects. The idea behind Smart Home Automation was to control any home appliance via internet through mobile phone or through computer, which makes it accessible throughout the globe. This system is economically viable and much cheaper than any available module in the market. Further research on this project has also been started by students of CCET to incorporate device control via social media platforms.

The Executive Vice Chairman of CCET, Fr Jose K Varghese and the Principal Dr Dipali Soren congratulated the winners of this event and extended their support and best wishes to the Techno club to continue their good work.
