ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR POST GRADUATE COURSES 2020 – 2021

  • Admission to 50% seats of all the branches will be filled through the Minority (Christian) Quota at College level.
  • Admission to 50% of the seats will be through post entrance exam counseling by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh, for which domicile holders of Chhattisgarh are ONLY eligible through CGPET.

IMPORTANT DATES

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION THROUGH MINORITY QUOTA

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : FOR C.G. DOMICILE STUDENTS

  • THROUGH CGPET
  1. I) Class 12th – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)

FOR GENERAL – Minimum 45% marks (PCM)
FOR CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) –  Minimum 40% marks (PCM)

  1. II) Appeared Engineering entrance exam (CGPET)

FOR GENERAL – Obtain minimum 10% marks in CGPET (15 Marks).
FOR CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) – Obtain minimum 5% marks in CGPET (8 Marks).

  • THROUGH JEE MAINS
  1. I) Class 12th – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM)

FOR GENERAL – Minimum 45% marks (PCM)
FOR CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) –  Minimum 40% marks (PCM)

  1. II) Appeared JEE Mains

FOR GENERAL – Obtain positive marks in JEE Mains.
FOR CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) – Obtain positive marks in JEE Mains.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : FOR OUTSIDE C.G. STUDENTS

THROUGH JEE MAINS

  1. Class 12th – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)

             FOR GENERAL – Minimum 45% marks (PCM)

            FOR CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) –  Minimum 40% marks (PCM)

    2. Appeared JEE Mains

         FOR GENERAL & CATEGORY (ST/SC/OBC/PH) – Obtain positive marks in JEE Mains.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR AVAILING MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP

  1. Photocopy of the Mark sheet of Class 10th
  2. Photocopy of the Mark sheet of Class 12th(secured minimum 50% marks)
  3. Income declaration – Affidavit in Non judicial stamp paper or income certificate from the employer. (Annual income limit up to 2 lakhs 50 thousand are entitled for scholarship).
  4. Document indicating Proof of Residence
  5. Minority Community Declaration (Christian) on a Non judicial stamp paper by the student.
  6. Photocopy of the fee receipt paid in the college.
  7. Photocopy of the Bank Passbook of the student.
  8. Photocopy of CG Domicile. (Chhattisgarh निवास प्रमाण पत्र)
  9. Photocopy of the Aadhaar Card of the student.
  • DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSIONS FOR CHRISTIAN STUDENTS UNDER SC, ST, OBC CATEGORY
  1. The student should have Chhattisgarh State Permanent Caste Certificatefor fulfilling the eligibility criteria for admission under (category) as per the notification of the CG Govt.

 

  • LATERAL ADMISSIONS TO SECOND YEAR (FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS IN TRANSFER COURSE)

Diploma holders are eligible for admission directly in second year of four year B.E. Degree course. Ten percent of total intake in first year B.E. is sanctioned for admission in second year. Out of the total seats so available in second year, admissions will be made on the basis of marks obtained in theory subjects of diploma examination with a minimum of 50%. The admission notice for this entry is published in news papers and college notice board and in the website.

PROCEDURE

  • i) All eligible and desirous candidates are required to fill the Admission Application form available on the college website – ccetbhilai.ac.in
  • ii) For admission the application form for B. Tech. can be downloaded from the college website or can be obtained from the office in person.
  • iii) The application form should be duly filled in with all supporting documents, self attested and to be returned to the college office on or before 31th  july 2020.
